The reasons for requirements change and its impacts to the projects are discussed. In addition, between the principles and processes of several popular methodologies is described and compared in details. Then a discussion on what functions the requirements changing management tools need is given, and a survey of the characteristics and capabilities on the requirements change management of current requirements tools is done. At last, some advices and predict the development for the requirements management tools in order to provide better support to changing management are given.
