Abstract

Pragmatic presupposition refers to the common senses which the speakers have known or the inference information from the context after the speech. It is not explicit,but implicit. Pragmatic presupposition plays an important role in speech communication. This paper discusses the strategies of pragmatic presupposition in Chinese communication: subtly set presupposition,to set presupposition by purpose mistake,to force presupposition,to change presupposition and to quote presupposition.
