Abstract
To improve the researching and designing efficiency of plane double-enveloping worm-gear,the digital design system for plane double-enveloping worm-gear was developed.The optimization design of digital design system included in the module of geometric parameter design,the module of strength check,the module of drawing contact lines and the module of change lines of tooth thickness.The parametric modeling software for planar double-enveloping worm-gear reducer was developed,which included parametric modeling of parts and assembly.An example was taken to show the advantage of the digital design system.
