Application of implant anchorage in orthodontic treatment

Abstract

Objective To discuss application effect of implant anchorage in the orthodontic treatment.Methods 80 patients were treated with micro-implant anchorage in orthodontic treatment.Results 154 implants in total 149 cases succeeded and the success rate was 96.8%.5 cases did not succeed,because of loosening up.Others showed good tolerance to micro-implant.Soft tissue around the implant was mild edema.Anterior teeth were retroceded significantly.Conclusion Micro-implant could provide absolute anchorage.It was simple to operate,instant to bear force and low-cost.
