Abstract
The effect of the content and type of wood flour on the thermal property of wood/plastics composite (WPC)were studied.The results showed with the increase of the content of wood flour and bamboo flour,the Vicat softening temperature of PE/wood flour composite rose little,but the MFR decreased.The result of DSC showed the melting temperature of the composite rose with the increase of the content of wood flour or bamboo flour, and the heat resistance of the composite was improved;when the contents of wood flour or bamboo flower was more than 40%,the melting temperature of the composites reduced on the contrary.
