Identification of Two Medicinal Plants from Artemisia by Morphology

Objective To clear up ambiguity and cultivate the date of identify characteristics between Artemisia annua and Artemisia scoparia.Methods The general character of botany were observed under dissecting microscope,and the fruit feature were observed under scanning electron microscope.Results The general characters of botany are extremely similar to each other;The types of ornamentation of fruit coat are mainly similar to ruga and washboard respectively.Conclusion The leaf and inflorescence are the key identification characteristics;The ornamentation of fruit coat has obvious significance for taxonomy.
