Abstract
Closly combining with the fact of grassland in Ningxia middle region,the characteristics and structures of grassland plant community,biological and ecological characteristics of forage and growth performance of grazed livestock were studied regularly by different grazing methods.The results showed that rotational grazing method of six areas was the best.Compared with natural grassland,the productivity of rotational grazing increased 73.84%;the living weight of ewes in rotational grazing was 4.7kg,0.35kg,1.6kg more than that of traditional grazing,continuous grazing and seasonal grazing,respectively.
