Problems Confronting Contemporary China's Socialist Cultural Construction and Way Out

There are three problems confronting contemporary Chinas socialist cultural construction:first, the basic orientation of economic-system reform is not unanimous in the fundamental objective;the result of the economic system reform has essentially different elements to socialist main-stream culture;second,though the fundamental political system is advanced,malpractice and shortcoming exist in some repects of concrete systems, holding up the cultural construction;thirdly, the impact of Western culture gives a challenge to Chinas cultural construction. Therefore, we must speed up the economic system reform, and at the same time steadily conduct the reform of political system, deepening the criticism of erroneous thinking in Western culture; strengthen the Partys leadership to cultural construction; uphold Marxist guiding position in socialist cultural construction and do well in Chinas cultural construction in accordance with the characteristics and law of cultural construction.
