An Introduction to Pilot Drilling Technology

Abstract

Pilot drilling technology has been widely used in drilling some special wells such as directional wells and horizontal wells,both at home and abroad.Its special technical performance can greatly improve the penetration speed of directional and horizontal wells.This new technology can be used to drill directional and horizontal wells in Zhongvuan Oilfield.It may lower the drilling cost and imorove economic benefit.
