Abstract
Special drilling technologies are needed for the drilling of a 5000 m deep scientific core hole in very hard crystalline rock formation. According to the technical level and current status of the drilling techniques in the world, a hybridized drilling technology (petroleum drilling/geo drilling) should be adopted for the drilling under such hostile drilling conditions. This technology is characterized by installing a high speed top drive head and a diamond wireline coring system onto a petroleum rotary rig, which has been proven in praxis to be the most cost effective method for continuous coring in deep and hard formation.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
