Abstract
In order to make the centrifugal pump get out of the critical speed in the runtime,it is necessary to design centrifugal pump rotor-bearing system reasonably. In this paper,a model for centrifugal pump rotor-bearing system was created based on ANSYS.The critical speeds of the rotorbearing system were calculated, and the effect of support stiffnesses and spans on the critical speeds was discussed. The results show that the length of the shaft section between bearings has more obvious influence on critical speed than the other shaft sections. The increase of both support span and support stiffness can increase the first two critical speeds obviously.
