Abstract

WT5BZ]Guangxi is one of the most important karst areas both in China and in the world, where there are the richest and the most varied karst tourism resources in China and the world, with carbonate area of 8.95×10 4km 2, i.e. 37.82% of Guangxi total area. There are more than 500 valuable karst tourism sites in Guangxi,with 26 main tourism resources types,of which the most important is humid tropical subtropical peak forest landforms, including peak forest plain, peak cluster depression, famous mountains and picturespue stones, caves, karst gorge and the ancients' relics etc.. The principal part of karst tourism resources in Guangxi is the peak forest landform scenery represented by “ Guilin scenery”well known in the world.
