The Relationship between HI Titers and the Infection of Virulent NDV in Vaccinated Chickens

Abstract

The virulent NDV in chickens inoculated with four immunity programs was tested by RT-PCR,and at the same time,HI test was used to detect valence of antibody. The results showed that the program which inoculated the chickens with both the oil vaccine and Lasota strain of ND at the same time, was the best program to preventing infection of virulent NDV in chickens. The chickens were not infected with virulent NDV when their valence of HI reach to 11 log2.
