Desire or the Desire of Mother:Lacan on Hamlet

In various interpretations of Hamlet,and the Freudian is one of the most important.The pivot of this interpretation is to explain the riddle of Hamlet with Oedipus complex.However,Lacan,as a revolutionist of psychoanalysis,reaches a different conclusion in terms of his own logic.The essential difference between them lies in this fact: with Freud,the key of this play is Hamlet's desire for his mother,whereas with Lacan,it is his mother's desire.
