Detection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in patients with diarrhea in Shenyang

Objective:To survey the Vibrio parahaemolyticus in patients with diarrhea and study on the position of it in diarrhea.Methods:Various bacteria were isolated and identified from diarrhea samples of native hospital pathogenic through separate culture,biochemistry,serology and PCR tested.Results:Totally 193 shares of samples from diarrhea patients were tested.Among all samples,43 strains were positive for Vibrio parahaemolyticus,the detectable rate was 22.3%.43 strains Vibrio parahaemolyticus belonging to 4 serotypes,O3,O1,O4 were common serotypes,accounting for 60.5%,23.3% and 14% respectively.All strains were toxR positive.In 43 Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolates from diarrhea patients,strains with tdh-positive and trh-negative were detected with proportions of 93%(40/43).Conclusion:The most frequent serotypes of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in Shenyang is O3,the majority of Vibrio parahaemolyticus is tdh-positive and trh-negative.The tdh-negative and trh-positive(or negative)strains are found to be less.
