Abstract

A grid computing system is a high performance distributed environment, which is composed of heterogeneous geographically-distributed computers and resources, with the purpose of providing users transparent access to sharing these resources. To guarantee this sharing more reliable, the notion is introduced.Trust management is an authorization mechanism for large-scale,open,distributed systems.Broadly speaking, two types of trust are defined: Execution trust and code trust.A trust management architecture is proposed to enhance grid security. This new trust model can capture various types of trust relationships that exist in a grid system and provide mecha-nisms for trust evaluation, recommendations and update for trust decisions.
