There was an obvious trend of inheriting and developing to the realistic style of New Yuefu about the Yuefu Poems of Late Tang Dynasty. The group of Yuefu poets who cared about people very much including Pi Ri-xiu and Lu Gui-meng continued advancing along the realistic road opened by the New Yuefu poets in Middle Tang Dynasty. They had inherited the art of writing realistically by using new tides and narrating. And they had developed the art of satirizing in Yuefu Pomes.
