The Challege Brought by the Aging Society and the Government's Countermeasures

The social aging problem in 21st century is unprecedented in history of mankind. It is a great challenge to any society. The problem relates national economy and people's livelihood, so government must propose corresponding countermeasure from overall situation. China's aging population bases on a great figure and a weak economy, increases fast, and has heavy burden. It demonstrates that china has already run to aged society. In employment system, government must pay attention to old industry's construction, increase employment opportunities of women old people and rural old people. In social security system government must improve retirement age properly and reduce supporting rate, set up multi-level endowment insurance system, expand coverage rate of social security with local conditions. The government must establish society that everybody shares. It will set up old education system and old medical treatment system. In conclusion, government will realize goal that the society can provides old with certain people to take care for, with proper medical treatment, with something to do, with opportunities to study, and with opportunities to enjoy themselves.
