The Ancient City of Shangqiu:The City of World Heritage Emblem

In terms of the figure of the representational symbols,the structure of the Ancient City of Shangqiu,which is like an copper coin of round outside and square inside that was in common currency in ancient China,is exactly the same as the World Heritage Emblem,and both are the classical examples of the appliance of the Round Sky and Square Earth theory of the ancient human culture.Viewed from theirs appearances,the structure of the Ancient City of Shangqiu which came into being in A.D.1540 is about 438 years earlier than the World Heritage Emblem first used in A.D.1978.As for theirs origins and connotations of time-honored civilization,both were applied and manifested with the ancient Chinese culture.Therefore,the Ancient City of Shangqiu is seemingly,the home to the World Heritage Emblem.In view of the foregoing,we regard The Ancient City of Shangqiu as the City of World Heritage Emblem.
