Abstract

Objective To explore the correlation between the expression of CD4+CD25+T lymphocyte and asthma. Methods The percentages of CD4+CD25+T lymphocyte of peripheral blood were detected with flow cytometry in 34 asthma patients(group A) and 25 healthy controls(group B).Plasma IgE was tested by chemiluminescence and serum interleukin-10(IL-10) was detected by ELISA.Results The expression of CD4+CD25+T lymphocyte was significantly lower in group A than that in group B [(5.90±1.10)% vs.(7.13±1.48)%](P0.05),which was positively correlated with serum IL-10 and negatively correlated with plasma IgE(P0.05).Conclusion CD4+CD25+T lymphocyte was overexpressed and associated with serum IL-10 and plasma IgE in patients with asthma, which suggests that CD4+CD25+T lymphocyte may play a role in the development of asthma.
