Abstract
Objective To seek the effect of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty(UPPP)of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods Patients with OSAHS confirmed by polysomnography(PSG)was chosen.48 patients with OSAHS were completed PSG studies of more than 6 months after UPPP.Results The follow-up period of 48 patients was 6 months,24 cases were cases had notable effects;6 cased had effects;8 cases had no effects.The effective rate was 83.3%(40/48).Conclusions UPPP is a safe and effective treatment method for OSAHS.
