Abstract
Objective:To Judge the dangerous nature of upper gastrointestinal bleeding(UGB)with Doppler ultrasound(DUS)diagnostic technique in patients with HB hepatic cirrhosis.Methods:The diameter and TAMx of PV,SV and SMV were examined in 20 patients with HB hepatic cirrhosis of Child grade B or C and 10 normal subjects.Meanwhile,the degree of esophageal varix in the patients were examinde with electronic gastroscope.Results:The diameter of PV,SV and SMV in the paticnts was obviously higher than that in normal subject(P0.01).The TAMx of PV,SV and SMV was no significant difference between the patients and the normal subject(P0.05).There was significant correlation between the degree of esophageal varix and the diameter of SV,SMV in the patients(P0.01,P0.05).The TAMx of SMV had a positive correlation with the degree of esophageal varix in the patients(P0.05).The PV diameter and the TAMx of PV,SV were no significant correlation with the degree of esophageal varix in the patents(P0.05).Conclusion:The diameter of SV and SMV could reflect the degree of esophageal varix.The TAMx of SMV can be used to evaluate the dangerous nature of UGB in patients with HB hepatic cirrhosis.
