Abstract

Chinese American writers bear dual cultural identities and vision,and they tend to draw in postcolonial context the imaginary Chinese culture as well as the ideal American culture according to their personal observation and experience in America.Studying these from the perspective of imagologie will help manifest the effects and problems of the drawing of Chinese and American culture and what efforts the Chinese American writers shall do in postcolonial context,so as to promote the development of the Chinese American literature and further the world's cultural communication.
