Abstract
A novel phosphorescent ligand,1-(4-pyridin-2-yl)phenyl-3,5-di[4-(9′H-carbazol-9′-yl)phenyl]benzene(6),was synthesized by diazotization,Ullmann reaction, boronic acidification reaction and Suzuki coupling reaction from carbazole,1,4-dibrombenzene,4-bromobenzenamine and 1,3,5-tribromobenzene.The structure was characterized by 1H NMR,MS and elemental analysis. The UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra of 6 in dichlorom ethane were investigated. The results showed that λmax of 6 were 237 nm,293 nm and 345 nm.λem was 413 nm.
