Abstract

Objective To investigate ultrasound signs of gallbadder in acute hepatitis. Methods Fifty patients with acute hepatitis were detected by ultrasound and liver functional examination in acute period and cure period. Results Fifty cases were classified into four types according to contour variety of gallbladder.Thirteen cases were in type I (normal) (26%),with gallbladder wall thickness 3.0 mm;Seven cases were in type Ⅱ (rough) (14%) with, gallblader wall thickness 3~6 mm;Nine cases were in type Ⅲ (thick-walled type) (42%),with gallbladder wall thickness6 mm,and double layer structure of gallbladder wall;Nine cases were in type Ⅳ (substantial) (18%),with internal cavity of gallbladder disappeared and massive strong echomass. After liver function became normal,( 86.5%) gallbladder function became normal or transmission turned the better. Conclusion The gallbladder abnormal rate in acute hepatitis patients has no significant relation with the sex and the types of acute hepatitis, and has positive correlation with damaging degree of liver function.Ultrasound is of a certain auxiliary value to diagnose acute hepatitis through indirect signs of abnormal gallbladder.
