DIRECT AND INDIRECT ULTRASONOGRAM SIGNS ANALYSIS OF ACUTE APPENDICITIS

Abstract

[Objective] Through direct and indirect ultrasonogram signs analysis of acute appendicitis,to raise the accuracy rate of ultrasonic diagnosis.[ Methods] Reviewed and analyzed the preoperative ultrasonogram features confirmed by surgery and pathology of 189 acute appendicitis patients.[Results] Among the 189 patients of acute appendicitis,the number of acute appendicitis petients confirmed through direct ultrasonogram signs took up 83.6%,that of highly suspected acute appendicitis patients confirmed through indirect ultrasonogram signs took up7.9% and 8.5% of the 189 missed diagnosis owing to no ultrasonogram alterations.[Conclusion] When ultrasonography applied in acute appendicitis diagnosis,we shall not only analyze the direct ultrasonogram features,but also the indirect features,so as to raise the accuracy rate of ultrasonic diagnosis.
