APPLICATIONS OF GPS IN SEVERAL FIELDS

Abstract

Global positioning system(GPS) brings great changes in navigation and positioning. It absolutely solves the navigation and positioning problem on the earth for human being. The system can satisfy the different requirements of different users. This paper mainly discusses new applications of GPS in such fields, as navigation, positioning and timing. It certainly provides some references for the GPS development in China.
