Abstract

The development of adult education in higher education institutions is encountering new opportunities and challenges.To seize the opportunities and overcome the challenges,higher education institutions should set up scientific outlook of adult education development with clarified notion on adult education and scientific orientation,make the adult education features prominent and society-oriented so as to enhance enrollment rate and intensify the reform to upgrade the teaching quality.Higher education institutions should perfect the administration of adult education and explore the new ways for the development of adult education.
