Abstract
The pathogenesis of jaundice was insufficiency of the spleen resulting in production of dampness and phlegm.When the blood vessel of liver and gall was blocked by dampness and phlegm,the janudice was caused.The basic treatment methods were clearing and dissipating heat-phlegm and warming for resolving cold-phlegm.Meanwhile,the herbs for activating qi and blood,promoting diuresis,warming yang and softening the hard mass were also be used according to patient's condition.
