Abstract
Both tumor growth and invasion of malignant tumors are dependent on angiogenesis. Tumor angiogenesis is controlled by various regulative factors, such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), angiogenin, fibroblast growth factor (FGF), angiostatin, endostatin , thrombospondin(TSP 1), etc. Anti angiogenic agents represent a new approach to anticancer therapy. In this article, the mechanisms of angiogenesis were introduced briefly and the advances in tumor angiogenesis inhibitor were emphasized especially.
