Abstract
Insects can affect and use plant semiochemical volatiles. The release of plant semiochemical volatiles can be changed by buccal secretion produced when insect feeding, which is different from the release induced by mechanical damage. The semiochemical volatiles released in the above two cases.have different ecological significance. The release of plant volatiles lured by insects has characters of system and colony.Insects can use these volatiles to look for appropriate behavior places, avoid surviving competition inside species and outside species.Study on the effects and utilization of plant semiochemical volatiles by insects will help human search natural control factors against pests, which are friendly to environment.
