Abstract
Objective To observe the changes of hemodynamics before and after endovascular stent by transcranial Doppler(TCD) in the patients with middle cerebral artery(MCA) stenosis.Method 26 patients were diagnosed as MCA stenosis.They suffered from transient ischemic attack(TIA) repeatedly during the therapy of antithrombosis.Endovascular stent after MCA stenosis was used to treat the patients who accepted the operation voluntarily.Result Endovascular stent for the patients were all successful.The mean blood flow velocity of MCA was(184.4±15.57) cm/s and(77.6±7.86) cm/s before and after endovascular stent,the decrease was significant(P0.001).Conclusion TCD shows endovascular stent can reduce the necrosis of MCA,improve the hemodynamics and the function of the brain tissue,be beneficial to the recovery of limbs function,and then prevent the patients from cerebral stroke.After endovascular stent,the patients should not do MRA and DSA.TCD have high specificity for the diagnosis of intracranial vascular stenosis and the changes of hemodynamics.
