Abstract
In the protection of historical and cultural cities in China,it is very common to focus on the improvement of the physical environment and neglect the construction of cultural connotation.Taking Dali ancient town as an example,some exploratory researches were made on the protection of historical and cultural cities from the perspective of cultural ecology.
