Design of LCD Interface Application Program Based on Embedded Linux

Abstract

This paper introduces MPC823e LCD controller. According to the timing demand of the 10.16 cm(4 in) STN-LCD LCBA7T211W display module, the hardware interface circuit between LCBA7T211W and MPC823e LCD controller is designed. Embedded Linux display driver program of LCBA7T211W is also developed. On the basis of it, LCD interface menu application program based on embedded Linux is designed. The corresponding 10.16 cm Touch Panel is utilized to operate the application program. The experiment results indicate that the whole LCD display system can display clear and stable pictures on this LCD display module, and the interface application program on the LCD is user-friendly and convenient to manipulate. The interface menu application program can be redesigned and can operate the special functions, and it is easier to take this LCD display system into practical application. Therefore, this LCD display system can be used as the input and output control device in many embedded industrial control fields.
