Abstract

[Objective] The research aimed to study the growth condition of Chlorella sp.under different nitrogen source and the concentrations of N,P.[Method] The effects of different nitrogen source and the concentrations of N,P on the growth of Chlorella sp.were studied by the UV spectrophotometry, biomass and the maximum growth rate.[Result] The optimal nitrogen source of Chlorella sp.was nitrate; The growth speed was faster, after 10 d of incubation, biomass and maximum specific growth rate of Chlorella sp.were 97.26 mg/L and 0.32 d-1,respectively,when the concentration of N was 164.0 mg/L.The growth speed was faster, biomass and maximum specific growth rate of Chlorella sp.were 98.46 mg/L and 0.31 d-1,respectively,significantly higher than other concentrations of P,when the concentration of P was 360.0 mg/L.[Conclusion] The study provides the theoretical basis for high density cultivation of Chlorella sp.
