Abstract
Saurichthys yunnanensis sp. nov,a new species of Saurichthyidae,is described in this paper. The new species differs from other species of this genus in long and elliptical opercular and the presence of 6 rows of trunk scales. Those fossils come from the Guanling Formation,Ainsian Stage,Middle Triassic in Da'aozi Village,Luoping County,Yunnan Province.
