Gender Differences in Kinesics

Abstract

Verbal communication and non-verbal communication are the two forms of interpersonal communication.The research of kinesics is an important part of that of non-verbal communication.Interpersonal communication will go smoothly if the gender differences in kinesics are dealt well with.This article focuses on the gender differences in kinesics,mainly from six aspects: body posture,space use,facial expression,smile,eye contact and touching.The reason is also presented.
