Abstract
Strategic re-orientation in south Tianshan is needed in terms of prospecting supra-large scale gold deposits in Xinjiang. Black rock-hosted gold is the most important in south Tianshan metallogenic belt. Geological conditions in south Tianshan are favorable for formation of super-large scale gold deposits. A further evaluation of Sawaryardun gold deposit is needed, especially the deep-seated ore bodies. New targets in a regional scale are needed.
