Abstract
Introducing mobile agent and active idea into next generation network architecture, the concept and framework of mobile agent-based application layer active network are put forward, It use mobile agent from two aspect, one is encapsulating active package, the another is constructing mobile agent environment(i. e. MAE). Thus, the ability is realized customizing active nodes and services dynamically.
