From the 42nd World Championship of Gymnastics to the New Tendency in the Development of Men's Free Gymnastics

Abstract

With the analysis of the documentary,video observation and statistics towards the players' movements of in the final match of men free gymnastics in the 42nd World Championship,it can be found that: First,the main developing tendency of the world's men free gymnastics movements is a set of ten D-degree difficulty movements consisting of nine 'somersault' movements of superior difficulty and one 'Non somersault' movements of C-part and then more connection value by 'flip two connection';second,using three 'flip two connection' combined with three difficult 'single somersault' and completing the 'Non somersault' movements after the third or fourth string of 'somersault' movements will become the tendency feature in designing D-degree of difficulty movements for the top free gymnastics players;at last,choosing difficulty properly and promoting the optimization of the quality of completing a set of movements will become the problem yet to be solved immediately for the excellent free gymnastics players.
