Abstract

As an important basic organic chemical material,the global annual demand of propylene has been increasing constantly in the recent years.China has rich heavy oil resource which is relatively low in price,so the heavy oil fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)process for maximizing propylene yield has aroused extensive attention.This paper reviewed advance of FCC process for maximizing propylene yield,and pointed out that increasing propylene yield through FCC process was a technical route suitable for China's current status.
