Effect observation of macula disease underwent vitrectomy with peeling of the internal limiting membrane

Objective Analysis the effect of macula disease underwent vitrectomy with peeling of the internal limiting membrane. Methods 6 eyes from 6 subjects with idiopathic macular disease were observed. All eyes underwent vitrectomy with peeling of the internal limiting membrane. Every subject was followed up after operation 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month and 3 months, recording acuity of vision, reattachment of retina,close of macular holes, extinctive macular edema. Results In all patiens ,3 patients (3 eyes) were observed punctate hemorrhage of macular area after peeling of the internal limiting membrane in operation; 3 patients (3 eyes) who were detachment of retina before operation have got anatomic success; 4 patients (4 eyes) who were macular holes, 3 of them got hole closed ,1 of them got hole deflate ;2 patients (2 eyes) who were macular edema, one got subsidise the other got completely vanish ;1 patient (1 eye) who was frontal membrane,has no recurrence.All cases have improved vision, 0.1 was 1eye, 0.1~0.3 were 3 eyes, 0.3 were 2 eyes. Except case 5, all dysmorphopsia have got amelioration. Conclusion Peeling of the internal limiting membrane is in effect for macula disease,it can bring improved vision and dysmorphopsia.
