Abstract
Tianjin Binhai New Area is located in the intersection strip of Beijing-Tianjin Urban Agglomeration and the Bohai Sea Urban Agglomeration,as the gateway of North China for opening-up.However,the current rate of land subsidence and the cumulative amount of land subsidence have been the unfavorable factors of economic development for many years, which is caused by the thick layer of loose Quaternary and excessive extraction of groundwater. This article will build groundwater-land subsidence numerical model in the whole Binhai New Area, then simulate the groundwater table land subsidence from 2007 to 2020 by GMS,which corresponds to three groundwater exploitation plans beyond the groundwater management of Tianjin before and after the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project.Eventually, the simulation results may be analyzed,in order to choose an optimal exploitation program of groundwater resources and land subsidence controlling.
