Abstract
Indefinite Sturm-Liouville problems with transmission conditions and boundary conditions depending on the spectral parameter are studied.The necessary and sufficient conditions for eigenvalues are obtained.An approach of combining differential equations with differential operators is used to prove that the eigenvalues of the boundary-value problem are real,analytically simple and geometrically simple.
