Research on predictive coding technology and its application in G.729

Abstract

The linear predictive coding technology(LPC) is a kind of important voice signal processing technology.It is widely used in the fields of estimating voice signal parameters.The theory of linear predictive coding technology and three kinds of basic implementation algorithms are introduced in this paper.The application of LPC in G.729 is studied mainly.Finally,the voice signal spectrum is analyzed using MATLAB.The experiments show that LPC is an effective way for estimating speech signal spectrum.
