Abstract
In indoor environments,ultra-wide band signals suffer from dense multipath propagation and severe time dispersion, the transmission performance of signals will be dropped.Rake reception is an important way to boost the performance of ultra-wide band receivers. But how to make sure the fingers of receiver becomes the key in the process of receiver design, based on the in- door muhipath channel model of the IEEE 802.15.3a,performance of Rake receiver in UWB communication system under BPSK modulation using MRC is simulated. The optimum finger is obtained by computer simulation,it shows that it can get better perfor- mance of system using the optimum finger than the others,it validates the validity by choosing the optimum finger. This method is more beneficial to the device of Rake receiver.
