Abstract
Considering that the ubiquitous interval parameters in mechanical analyses can make the objective responses interval numbers and the magnitude comparison between the interval numbers being needed in the mechanical condition estimations, the interval analysis method was introduced in the mechanical analysis and a reasonable condition estimation method is given.Reasonability theory of condition estimation is put forward with overlap existing in the involved interval numbers appearing in the condition estimation. When the interval numbers degenerate into numbers, the analysis methods revert to the traditional condition estimation rules.
