Survey on the Job Satisfaction of Clinical Nurses in Large General Hospital

Objectives To investigate the clinical nurses' job satisfaction and influencing factors,and to provide bases for improving the job satisfaction of clinical nurses.Methods A total of 143 clinical nurses were recruited and investigated with a self designed questionnaire and a job satisfaction questionnaire.Results The overall score of clinical nurses' job satisfaction was 151.83±27.22,and the 1owest satisfaction was welfare and the highest one was working atmosphere.Multiple regression analysis showed that influencing factors of clinical nurses' job satisfaction included clinical nurses' level of education and marital status.Conclusions Improving the level of education of clinical nurse can improve clinical nurses' job satisfaction and stabilized the nursing team.
