On the Planning and Design of Garden Show from the Horticultural Exposition

Garden show, originated from Western countries, can promote the development of garden and horticulture through exhibition. In recent years, various garden shows were held in some big cities, which not only promoted the development of garden and horticulture, but also brought new opportunities for the host cities. As garden shows develop, the planning and design and follow-up use of garden show are also big and inevitable problems for planners and designer. Base on the half-century history of garden show, this paper is about how to choose the location, themes and ways of operation, and thinks deeply the planning and design of garden show and gives suggestions.
