Abstract

Objective To evaluate the value of plain film and CT scan in the diagnosis of intestinal obstruction. Methods Collected 51 cases of intestinal obstruction in recent years.46 cases by operation corroborative. The average age is 51.6 years.51 cases were analysed and compared with the disease imaging reflect of plain film and CT:display of signs of obstruction, position, factor, degree, strangulation were judged. Results 46 cases by operative proved, mechanical obstruction in 45 cases(included strangulation in 12 cases),misdiagnosis in 3 cases, small bowel obstruction in 22cases,obstruction of colon in 24 cases, with intestinal perforation in 2 cases. Conclusion It is effective methods of application with plain film and CT scan in diagnosis of intestinal obstruction.CT examination has its obvious advantages to judgement cause, position, type of intestinal obstruction, especially. It is characteristic of the mesenteric changing in strangulation obstruction,so it is a necessary method to decrease the misdiagnosis.
